I don’t usually go in for sale shopping (unless it’s online) but over the weekend, Himself and I headed to Kildare Village (last spoken about here) whilst we were on our way down the country to visit family. I picked up a few bits and pieces I thought you might like to see.
First up we bought this lovely Molton Brown hand wash set. I love having nice handwash in the bathrooms and so to grab two for €22 was an absolute steal. I don’t know many of the MB fragrances, but I know some can be quite strong, so Himself and I had a good sniff of the testers before settling on these two and I couldn’t be more thrilled with them.
Santa gifted Himself Happy Socks this year and when we realised they had a store in Kildare Village, well, I thought it was high time I got in on the cool socks game. Although mine will most likely be worn at home!
I’m a UK size 4 1/2 which is a 37 in European sizing, so I’m at the lower end of the sizing bracket they offer. The socks are a little big on me truth be told, but I still love them and if you have larger feet than me you’ll be golden!
We also popped into Rituals and I restocked my Pure Face Oil which I’ve nearly finished since the last time we were in Kildare Village – I’ve been using it practically everyday so this is not a surprise – my skin positively drinks it in! I think it’s a wonderful product and one you should check out if you’re in the market for a facial oil!
I also decided to pick up their travel sized shower foam. We loved their other one which was a real treat for the bathroom, so I know this one will get used up in no time too.
Last but not least was actually something I got when I was with my Mom the day before. I hadn’t realised, but it Cosmetices is in Ireland now!! You can only find it in one place at the moment and that’s Arnotts in town. They have everything, including this very luxe looking brush set.
My brushes were badly in need of being replaced, so I jumped at the opportunity to snap these up and whilst I’ve only used them for four days I can say I’m very impressed so far, but I’ll no doubt update you properly as I use them more!
Pre-Christmas this set cost around €150 euro (I’m going from memory as I’ve already recycled the box) and afterwards it was €93. Now I’m not saying that isn’t still a lot of money to be spending just after Christmas, however, you’re getting a pretty full brush set as well as a clutch with a very decent sized mirror. I’m using it to store my brushes right now but if you were so inclined, it could make for a very glam going “out-out” bag!
Those brushes are incredibly pretty, what a find. Happy new year x

I love Happy Socks so much, I think I purchased 10 pairs for presents and didn’t get any for myself, so I think it’s about time I do. Also, the brushes look so cute!

Do have a look around for them – maybe in an outlet shopping mall? Like the one where I got mine? You may have better luck somewhere like that!
