When being at a family event a couple of weeks ago led us to hang out in a large garden with it’s own fire stove yolk, there was only one option possible
Roasting Marshmallows!!!!
I had never done it before, but according to those around me I had quite the knack for it – I mean – I nearly burnt my face off doing it because I was practically in the fire with the marshmallow to get it evenly toasted on all sides, BUT I managed it and oh my days was it yum!
When the bag was brought out I was like “there are a lot of us here sure… but we’ll never go through all that” – lads – if there’d been a second bag, it would’ve been empty too!
look at the gooey goodness!
So whilst we can still (somewhat) call the weather “Summer”, when you next do a little at home BBQ, be sure to get in on the melty marshmallow madness game – it’ll be well worth your time and your taste buds will thank you
^ Himself toasted this one – bit burned for me, but his cup of tea!
Watch out for your animal-folk, cause they’ll steal a marshmallow in a heartbeat the moment you look away, so keep your eyes open!!
Next time I really want to try S’mores!!
A glorious way to spend an evening. After the younger humans headed to bed, we stayed up until late and saw the stars come out – pretty great as it goes.
Yummm! Sounds like you had so much fun!

Yum, great job making it perfectly golden brown! I recently enjoyed s’mores with my cousins last week at their campground. Relaxing times… 🙂

These marshmallows look amazing! I’m going to have to try this. I only ever roast marshmallows while camping! What a great idea to do it in your own backyard!
