And just like that, we’re a week into 2018 – crazy times! I had such a great blogging year and it being the most successful one yet for Peppermint Dolly is the cherry on top of the very elaborate cake! Today I’m taking a walk back through some of my favourite shots/moments from this year. Enjoy!
Making my first ever Cheesecake and it going down a treat with the punters (…Himself really, hardly anyone else got a look in!). Find the recipe here
Making a batch of jammie doughnuts for the first time – not quite as rounded as I’d like, so there will definitely be a second attempt! Recipe here
This shot of my Raspberry & Coconut Upside down Loaf cake (accompanied by tea!) – definitely my favourite food photography shot of the year.
Best burger eaten has to be this one omg DELISH!
Seeing Ed Sheeran in concert was a definite highlight
Being invited to photograph and collaborate with DFS on their new collection especially for apartments. Check out their collection
and my birthday post which features two of their pieces
Our holiday to Euro Disney was completely brilliant! Especially that day where we were the very first people let into the park!
and our meal at Chez Rémy
Our second wedding anniversary and the BEST gift ever!
Our fantastic weekend away (<- the most loved post of the year by you lot!) with Himself’s family, also here
Followed by a wonderful weekend away with my family in sunny Portugal (also here,
and here)
Which included my favourite beauty shoot of the year too!
There were buckets of gorgeous foodie places I’d never been to before which I got to visit with friends – too many to mention really – but here are some snaps of yummy foodage (as I know how much you guys love that!)
For The Food Market Goers
And The Roof Top Wanderers -> London Edition
Our decision to move back to Ireland was our biggest life change of 2017 and boy has it paid off dividends tenfold already!
Plus, it got us off the couch and out to visit ALLLLLL the amazing London tourist spots we hadn’t been to before, like this one
this one (my personal favourite shot of the year)
and this place too
Last but not least, my proudest blogging moment of 2017, was taking on the Blogmas challenge and seeing it through to the very end. I gained such amazing feedback from you guys which made all my efforts feel very worth it, so thank you for following along!
There have been so many other trips, outings, time with family and friends, job opportunities and fun this year, but there was no way this post could sum it all up – to be honest it’s already too long! But, suffice to say – it’s been a blast and I cannot wait for the coming year and all the good things it has in store!
I can NOT believe how far we are into January already! Looks like you have had an amazing year!
