Honest Burger

In West London, a new burger joint has just opened and it’s one you’re going to want to check out

Honest Burger

Straight after work on Friday, Himself and I made a beeline for the place, to kick our weekend off right – with a date night!

The menu is petite but perfectly formed, we ordered quickly and noticed a constant stream of guests arriving one after the other until in no time at all, there was a long line almost out the door

The decor is gorgeous, exposed brick, wood panels, shiny green tiles, potted herbs, plants and low hanging light bulbs which all combine to create a wonderful atmosphere – plus the soundtrack is awesome!

I had a margarita and it was sublime – you must try it! Himself went for one of their beers.

First to arrive was our shared side, the onion rings – they were so tasty and had a great onion to batter ratio, which of late has been hard to find, more often than not it’s all batter with hardly any onion, I was delighted to find this wasn’t the case here!

Himself had the HONEST – beef, red onion relish, smoked bacon, mature cheddar, pickled cucumber and lettuce

and I went for the CHEESE – beef, red onion relish and lettuce with mature cheddar, red leicester or stilton (I went for red leicester)

All their burgers come with chips and are made medium/rare so if you want anything else, speak up when you’re ordering.

Personally, I’m all about the medium/rare burger and both were absolutely delicious.

With not a scrap left, we threw on our coats and freed up our table for the next two hungry mouths in the queue

It truly was a sumptuous meal and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, they were helpful, attentive and just generally wonderful.

Go and enjoy!!

*I was not compensated in any way to write this post, I just thought you guys would love this restaurant!!
