Happy Saturday folks! Last night, Himself and I donned our gladrags and headed out for a night on the town – this morning we wanted something yummy that was good for us and best of all – really quick and easy to make!
This recipe is my go-to for those lazy days when you just can’t quite be bothered to perfectly poach an egg and serve it with smashed avocado on sourdough bread topped with smoked salmon – as is the new norm apparently – this my friends, is a cracking alternative!
Ingredients
3 small Banannas
1 punnet Raspberries
Splash of Coconut water
tsp Honey
Blitz, have a little taste test, add a bit more of whatever you fancy, blitz again and your done!
Pour and serve immediately
I like to freeze some banana slices ahead of time so that when I add them to a smoothie it’s chilled to perfection without having to add any ice at all!
Also, it’s your smoothie, so if you’d rather some more fruit, some veg or protein powder maybe? Go for it!
Top Tip: If you’re making these for a party or celebration, drop in a splash of vodka, a glass of Champagne and add some strawberries….YUM!!
To finish, I dressed ours up a little, with party straws and a raspberry at the top, cause why not!?
I love homemade smoothies, so I’ll pop a few more recipes on the blog for you soon, enjoy!
