Southbank Visit

What a lovely day today was! Woke up to my beautiful pink roses and after basking in their loveliness (for several hours), myself and the fella left our apartment around lunchtime and headed to meet some friends down by the Southbank.

Pink Roses

It was fantastic – chat, laughs and the hot sunshine! We met at the Roof Garden Café and sat in the sun for about 3 hours – pure bliss! (only open until late September so get down there asap!)

Roof Garden

After the chats, himself and I decided to take a stroll down the Southbank and do a bit of site-seeing!

London Eye

^ London Eye & Big Ben (even though we’ve seen them lots before, I took a snap anyway!)

^ I swear I have no idea what this is but it looked awesome!

I was extremely jealous of all the kiddies getting to go on the merry-go-round! But as there was a massive queue I decided to leave it to them! (plus, I’m quite certain that himself would’ve died with embarrassment on the spot if I’d got in the queue!)

Once we got home, I kicked off my heels and settled into a delicious ice cold latte, in a wine glass…natch! 😉

(blog post on this asap!)

Me          <————- Me and Big Ben, hanging out!

Sometimes, all a girl needs is the sun, her fella, her friends and an outfit to make her feel great (that’s totally not too much to ask right…?!)

Outfit: Top H&M | Trousers Oliver Bonas | Heels L.K. Bennett | Bag Lulu Guinness (Looks like it’s not in stock anymore! If any of you find it please let me know and we’ll add it in!) | Sunglasses Ray-Ban | Necklace Links Of London

Hope you all had an amazing day!
