This morning I met Heather for an early breakfast
Having heard so much good stuff about Gail’s Artisan Bakery we decided to head there and dig into their menu (find your local Gail’s here)
We ordered two coffees and settled in for the chats – including wedding prep chat – as Heather was recently engaged herself!
I do love some latte art in the mornings!
Heather had the ‘Brioche French Toast’, with maple bacon – safe to say it was very much enjoyed as the plates contents were massacred!
and I had their ‘Eggs and Bacon’, toasted english muffin, pan fried tomatoes and streaky bacon topped with fried eggs
look at that runny perfection
Once delivered to our table, the woman next to us exclaimed “oh my gosh that looks amazing, AMAZING!”
She was right, it did and it tasted SO nom too!!
Afterwards, I met up with Himself and we went for a walk (which was muchly needed after that breakie!)
Surrounded by a cool breeze, a brilliantly bright sun and multicoloured trees – Autumn couldn’t have been anymore present if it smacked us in the face!
What I love most about our Saturday wanderings is that the streets are really quiet (most families clearly enjoying their saturday mornings at home!) which is great for us as it feels like we, just about, have the run of the place!
Outfit
White top | Jumper (previous season), similar | Jeggings | Shoes (in blue) | Jacket | Sunnies | Necklace
After seeing lots of signs advertising the Steam Fair during our walk, we decided to head into Ravenscourt Park for a goo (they’re only there until tomorrow so get moving if you want to visit!)
I had a go at both the shooting games and I’m delighted to tell you – this girl has aim!
^ even though my arms aren’t exactly long enough to have the correct hold!
We checked out the foodage and decided on some fresh doughnuts
Which were positively delicious!
Right before leaving, we went around in a bumper car which was SO much fun and then Himself convinced me to go on the merry-go-round
…I didn’t need much convincing……at all!
A lovely Saturday – I hope you all had a great one too!
Rxx
